I recently bought a 2210 and was interested in the imatch attachment. Is there anything I should know? Is it worth buying? I am constantly taking the rear blade on and off and it is a pain.

There are tons of posts on the subject,
everybody has their different opinion on them.
Other options include Speeco hitches, Pat's easy change system, etc. Most of it will depend on what other implements you may want to use with it. If staying with the Deere Imatch compatable implements, you will be fine. But, if you come across an off brand implement, it may not be compatable, and may require modification to fit.
Some brands of Quick Hitches have an adjustable top link, and Pat's easy change is only for the lower link arms.

I also just bought a 2210 in Jan. I found it took longer to hook the ballast box up than the FEL. I do have some back problems so I got the i-Match on Sat. and I love it. I can't say anything bad or good about the other's but I do love the I-match

If you're often mounting/dismounting rear implements the Imatch is GREAT! If you have a MMM it is almost a necesity on the 2210 due to that stupid spacer bar you have to put on just to be able to lift the mid mount mower. Want to mow? Just flip the two levers and drop the rear blade and you're off! Imatch comes with a set of bushing to put on one implement. If you have more than one attachment you'll want to get extra bushings. A BONUS I've found is the Imatch gives me a couple extra inches to attach a driveshaft whereas without I'd have to attach the shaft first then the attachment and if I forget to attach the driveshaft first... well, I can't think of any drawbacks to the imatch.... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have an I-Match on my 4115 and love it. Just back up drop the levers and go. Had a KK Carry All modified to fit, I also buy my bushings for it from TSC, about half the price of JD's and work just the same.

I have been pondering over the I-Match for my 2210 too. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
My issues are:
1) How much more weight will it add to the already heavy machine. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

2) Doesn't it look strange to have the massive I Match on the back of our little 2210? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

So, Does anyone have any pictures of it on their 2210's? With or without implements too!
I know there must be others here who would love to see pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

<font color="green"> Actually the first time I saw the iMatch I thought it looked whimpy by comparison to the SpeeeCo quick-hitch I own.

It really doesn't look massive at all. There was an iMatch hooked up to a 2210 last month in Louisville at the National Farm Machinery show. First time I saw one in person.

Imatch is great. This is a picture of the rear blade on the Imatch. Modification was required to get the blade and landscape rake to work, but it was worth it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have one for my drawbar, back blade and ballast box. Real time saver! My ballast box is full of sand to the top. I can't imagine wrestling that around!
