1953 Massey Ferguson 50
Hi! My wife and i bought some land, 10 acres. We planted a couple acres of apples, we have some peaches in the back. We're not really farmers, we just like living in the country. So we have to ask a lot of questions. I'm really pretty new at this tractor stuff. Where I grew up we had a Farmall Cub, small tractor with several implements. This is many years later - I'm 65. We bought a well used (1953) Massey Ferguson 50. My neighbor is a tractor mechanic - he's been a real help. I just finished taking it apart and replacing the ring gear and the clutch and some oil seals. I had to ask my neighbor a LOT of questions! Then today i saw this forum, and thought this could be a real help. So, HI!
