I\'m in the wrong business
i just replaced my 17 year old heat/air system..because of a rusted out drip pan under the A-coils. called a couple repairmen, they wanted @ $700 to pump the unit down and "replace" the A-coils, because they said the drip pan was made onto the A-coil...so i decided to just replace the whole thing!!! when they took out the A-coils, the drip pan was simply screwed to the coils with 4 screws..and would have been a simple fix. "guessing", it would have taken 3 hours to pump the system down, and if a new coil was put in, probably pay $300 for the new coils..thats over $100 an hour for the labor..i need to learn to do this....
