You got that right! My "pucker" came when both rear tires lifted off the ground while loading the fel going down a 30 degree slope. WOW! What a feeling!
Oh..by the way, I always block the rear of the backhoe, between the stabilizers, up about 8 inches off the ground when I take it off. Big help when re-mounting!

I dug up about 20' of my lawn the 1st time I attempted to hook up my fel.. :(

Wouldn't have been so bad if the neighbors weren't supervising.

I'm sure they thought "look at the idiot pushing that front end loader around the yard" ...

Gunmaker,

Can you explain a little further about where you put the 8" blocks? Do they go under the stabilizer feet, the center, or both?

I put them in the center, underneath and between the lowest hinge points of the stabilizers. There is a small flat area on the bottom of the backhoe, almost directly under controls. It is about 16" by 12" and I found that I can block up the bh there, and it is very stable. I do leave my stabilizers extended.
