I'm Back // New Purchase

   / I'm Back // New Purchase #21
Soon after we purchased the truck found out that one wheel was welded. Was able to get a guy to fix weld and install new tires on it . Now a few years later, weld needing repair again - tire stores don't want to put tires on it, so now - need to purchase wheels in addition to tires.

As for the 1025R - has anyone checked out the video channel by Tractor Time With Tim. His original videos are all about the Pro's and Con's of this specific model - well done and great information. My friend purchased one 3 years ago and was touting all that it is capable of. That's where I got started with my research - It really is quiet powerful and nimble.

Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for the kind words!

Keep up the great work! So glad God has restored your health!

I've actually been trying to find information from your site about purchasing a GN trailer as well as a tiller.

Would you please clarify something for me? The new hydraulic tiller - is it too big for the 1025R? Would I be overstressing the 1025R by using it? It seems like you've used it because your old one broke(?) but it was really purchased to be used with the new larger tractor?

Did you mean the post hole digger?

I don’t have a hydraulic tiller.

My bad...meant the hydraulic box grader - I've been researching too many attachments at one time:confused2: You featured it with the Land Plane video.

You made a comment that you didn't have the wheel ballast on the 1025R at the time you recorded being used on that driveway (you were digging up a driveway that had plenty of stone) and did the finishing work with the Land Plane. Is this new box blade too big for the 1025R? Would I be overstressing the 1025R by using it? It seems like your old box grader broke(? or you were just testing a hydraulic model?) but this new hydraulic box blade was really purchased to be used with the new larger tractor?

I will be using my box blade to tackle a dirt driveway that is approximately 1/2 mile long, black gumbo. If you work the soil under the best conditions it is beautiful dirt, if not, it can be a disaster. Black gumbo is clay. If too wet, it clumps on your shoes and you can gain 5" in height before it shakes off (same with your tires) or if too dry, it's like concrete - the summer cracks can be 3-4" wide and 24" deep - real ankle turners/busters. If you ever need a new area to test out your tractors & attachments, you're welcome to come to our place in Van Alstyne, TX. We have plenty of room to "boondoggle glamp" or tent camp. :) Hey, Maybe you could even feature moving beehive colonies with an attachment:laughing:
