IH plow, what model???

Hmmmm....... if it makes you feel any better - I didn't know about starting in the middle until now. A couple years ago I plowed up a small field by going round and round starting on the outside. I guess that explains why my plowed field looked different than everybody else's - ha,ha. I've got a single bottom moldboard plow made by Pittsburg.

Haha well at least we almost know what we are doing now.. before we teach a younger generation how to plow a field the long way ha.

I didn't know they made single mold boards I just saw middle busters when I was looking for a plow. I bet it makes a good looking field just probably takes a little while to finish

If I wanted to add a the 4th bottom is the super chief bracket also a trip plow? So several diffrent plows use the same bracket just get a moldboard and landslide to match the rest?

For most IH plows it is the same piece! To get back to plow chief the older units I do believe the frog is different. The super chief bottoms are newer and are a better bottom for parts as well as the prices of them.

Great thanks I'm about to rebuild it and sand blast and paint it this winter. Its in to good of shape not to fix up.
