Had a radiator leak in my Cub Lo-Boy. Couldn't remove the drain plug, so I took the radiator out and caught the antifreeze in a tub. Drained the bolster and filled the plug hole with PB Blaster. I only have a small propane torch, but it was enough heat to allow me to break the plug free. I was using vice grips and the plug is chewed up. So should I just buy a new plug and use Teflon tape or anti-seize on the threads? Or weld a nut to the stub of the plug?

I'd just like to do something that will prevent this happen again.

Thanks,
