This front power takeoff operates the mower deck. No matter what I do with the lever or loosen the clutch lever, I can't get the clutch to disengage fron the drive shaft. The lever wear button was in fragments and i don't know where the pressure spring thrust button is located. do I have to remove the whole assembly of is there a possible quick fix, I have sprayed with penetrating oil, lightly tapped the mechanism as well as stried to pry the clutch from the "cookie cutter " drive attached to the main drive shaft.
Where do I go from here? No local existing cub cadet dealers available. Only the big box stores now a days.
Thanks
Oh, no help from " only cub cadets forum"

The set screws are "double", you have to remove the first one to loosen the second.

And, yes, you need to take it completely out,, that will make it easy,,,,
