Ignorance...

Have a Hino E224 and need to add some hydraulic fluid. Where????
I think I know but don't want to screw up....
Also what fluid would you recommend?

There should be a plug or a dipstick on top of transmission by the shift lever.

There is .... the dipstick, hydro. hose connection, and a rubber boot that covers... ? Do I remove the hose?

Not unless it's in the way of filling. Use a funnel. I use Hy-Trans fluid available at NAPA, Tractor Supply and sometimes Wal Mart.
