Ignition switch jam nut size 2001 t35

Dear Folks,
Does anyone know the thread pitch and size for this nut. I lost it, the ignition is only a couple years old. My imprecise measurement is 7/8 across outside of the thread. The ignition was purchased from NH, made in Mexico.

I would either:
1) disconnect a battery lead, remove switch & take it to the hardware store. In town nearby is a fastener business that sells everything you can imagine.
2) get part number from New Holland dealer & order it

Went to 3 hardware stores, nothing over 3/4" in jam nuts (they all had the same stock) NH only has the ignition switch with the nut, $139. Auto parts store did not know anything about anything. I'll try Tacoma Screw next, or throw a clamp on it, I prefer a jam nut that fits though, either plastic or metal.

You need to know TPI
This is McMaster Carr 7/8" 20 TPI panel nut.
I'd rather metal than plastic.

Found the nut size, m22 x 1.5 if anyone needs one.

Unless you have a local real hardware store your prob not going to find something like this at a chain box store. I have a local hardware place here that would have that but telling you the name wouldn't help. It's best to know all the little businesses in your town and surrounding for little odd things like this.

We have a similar place about 15 minutes away. Sometimes you have to blow the dust off of what you want. Surprising how many times some of the things they have that are competitive price wise with the big box places.
