ignition problems

I have a 2005 jd compact tractor, 900 hrs. powerreverse open station. sometimes, not everytime its does not turn over to start . I can take off the fuse cover under the steering wheel and jiggle the ignition switch and get it to start. my question is since the powerreverse lever has to be in the neutral position is there a connection at that location close to the ignition switch that might be loose because sometimes I just move the lever back and forth and it will crank off.
anyone know where I should start to look? it ju st started doing this a few days ago. thanks for any response.

what ever your jiggling would be a clue check for loose or corrode connections its when nothing you do makes a difference that its hard to find.
