Come on fellows...everybody knows that the earth was created 6000 years ago, with all of these little eccentricities in place, i.e., impact craters, dinosaur and hominid bones, etc.
I think I bought that record in the '60's...but I may have been stoned at the timeIt's on the flip side of the flat earth record.

My point is that there are BELIEFS on the current science side as well as the bible side. Science has evolved into a religion over the last 500 years. The last thread was closed due to delving in to religious beliefs versus science and, of course, some speculation about alien life.

Observation of photographs I've seen since I was young. Have you seen a picture of a "meteor" impact that's at an angle thus making a groove into the surface? And where do you come up with that "statistic"?
Same logic applies to any big hole created by something.I'm quite sure that there are a few craters below as one flys from the NE to Phoenix that show a rather round hole (crater), but the displaced earth is mostly on one side of the holes. Suggesting an angular impact.
Of course, time has a way of rearranging things. Certainly if a "flood" uprooted trees, the hole would be immediately refilled with silt etc.
