Idler Pulley

Hi I am new to the forum,I have a ariens ezr 2048 zero turn mower that I am working on.I need some parts and maybe someone in the forum might have a parts machine.Well I'm looking for a flat idler pulley,the bearings in mine are shot and the way they are designed you cant just replace the bearing you have to buy a whole new pulley.I am also looking for a breather tube(hose vent)that comes out of the transaxle.If anyone has a used parts machine please let me no.Thanks,Joe

Idler pulleys are fairly easy to source however the devil is in the details. Sometimes bushings or washers have to be added to the replacement due to changes in bearing ID.

Northern Tool generally stocks most common idlers.

I have on occasion taken idlers apart and replaced the bearing. Drilling or chiseling the rivets is generally required. I did have one pair of idlers that was riveted and spot welded together. I had to buy a new one.
