Kioti DK55 Cab, 3 NHs (from 40-90HP)
i salvaged an old harrow from the woods - according to the previous owner, it was sitting for 10+ years (as evidenced by the trees growing through it).

i replaced the tires, the hydraulic cylinder, and the hose - and it's good as new.

can anyone identify this unit? it's Ford Blue (or was at one point!)

thanks in advance.

Absolutely a Ford. The model # is stuck in my head somewhere. It'll hit me about 4AM. I recall it being made in the mid 60's (until?)

Ive usually heard them referred to as wheel discs. I have a JD version of your "old blue".
It should work just fine for you. The nice part is that you can raise the disc a tiny bit if you dont want to go real deep.
good luck.

thanks for the replies.. i'm going to see if i can find some identifying numbers on it. it's really a darn good harrow, i especially like the ability to set the depth easily.

and the price (2 new tires, a hydraulic cylinder and a hose) was perfect. the benefit of buying an abandoned farm is that you constantly find implements that work fine despite the age.. all they need is some TLC.

cheers.

Yup, that's true, makes it fun and satisfying, too, to fix up the old stuff.

Your Kioti will have plenty of hp to pull that harrow. The next time you're at a tractor show, you might look around for an owners manual for it. I've had some luck that way. Usually, the manuals are inexpensive and its cool to own the manuals.

I do think you might be surprised at how well that wheel disc is going to work for you. I know I was surprised with mine...125 bucks from my neighbor!

best of luck to you.
