Make sure they fit. The only gloves at HF I can squeeze my hands into are some of their nitriles and their largest welding gloves.

I buy the Harbor Freight leather/elastic gloves. They fit me the best and I don't feel bad about tearing them up or losing them.

I bought about every pair of gloves I could find, trying to find a really good pair which fit my hands. From $40/pr to $6. The yellow, full fingered, HF gloves are by far the best for me. And by the time I wear a hole in the end of the middle finger, they are usually losing their velcro closure and/or have oil/grease/etc on them to the point that going into the trash is not an issue.

I love them, and buy several pair several times a year. My hands pay the bills... and I wear gloves in almost everything I do.

I agree. Gloves wear out and I don't believe there is a $1,000 lifetime pair!
My wife's Grandad was a life long farmer who always wore gloves. I don't believe bare leathery hands are the way to go either. I wished I had them on a few weeks ago when I had to have a tiny shard removed from my hand at an urgent care. $500...(but the nurse was incredibly pretty).
Now I must ask..."by the time I wear a hole in the end of the middle finger"...
How is that possible?

Do you have a link for the single pair 451's in XL?
I couldn't find it on Amazon. The only place I found it on the net they wanted about $5 for the glove and $5 for shipping. I could have gotten free shipping if I spent another $2,495!

Unfortunately, I just looked and couldn't single pairs without stupid shipping charges. Go ahead and buy the large 12 pack for the ~$30. If you don;t like them, they will make great xmas stocking stuffers. You will be one of the most thoughtful people ever. :laughing:

They're inexpensive but they are much better than the Harbor Fright or local hardware store gloves that look similar. They last a lot longer. However I think are too bulky to operate a chain saw with so I switch to thinner gloves for that. I like the HF leather gloves for running the saw and other use but they don't last nearly as long when piling brush as the Baileys work gloves. The HF gloves are kinda variable- some are thinner than others. I've had some rip in under 10 hours of use.

the gray glove is more for cold weather
blue is uninsulated more for warm weather
these are both the best gloves my old favorite was Wells Lamont
the blue is actually dark blue and you can find them cheaper on amazon
I originally bought one of each then after trying them got a dozen each

comfortable knit shell, dipped hand that is grippy and works when wet and good cut and impact protection. also, not too expensive that you don't want to get a new pair when one wears out.

I went to harbor freight a few weeks ago to get some things and of course you can't go in there and just get what you wanted so I was looking at the gloves an I went to put it on and there was no thumb hole it was on the outside but sewed shut on the inside so I took it up to the cashier and asked her try it on and when she couldn't get her thumb in she laughed a thought it was funny but they threw it in the return bin. But I got a pair of goat skin I like them I used them when I was driving tractor trailer hauling oversize but only lasted about 6 months but at 1.99 a pair you can't complain to much.
