I find I can load the bucket easier with a smooth edge.

Kioti CK2620SECH The grapple bucket that I have would work as long as the dirt/clay is broken up fine, it the dirt is cloddy it picks up as much dirt as rocks. I don't recall your location but I am considering more of a root grapple for my purposes. When I went back and looked I saw NW KY.
