Snow Equipment Owning/Operating I Think I made a "Big" mistake

After the last blow-able snow we had here,I must have looked too happy when I was going to get the tractor out of the shed.
Just got the door dug out and the tractor out when the lovely wife came out all dressed warm and asked if she could try he new blower.
An hour and a half later I had to almost drag her off the thing so I could go across town to blow out my son's lane before he came home from work.
All I have heard since is "I can't wait for it to snow so I can go play with the blower"
I am having some concerns.

You should. You have committed cardinal no-no numero uno. The wife/gf/significant other should only see you frown and grumble every time you have to go "get on the @#*@ tractor again." You've allowed your dear secret to become know to the female. I fear for you sanity and happiness.

I have no specific advice for you, but, you will need to use your wits and guile to "un-convince" her of how much fun being on the tractor is. It may require extreme cunning so explore all avenues to achieve this objective.

Dan... Looks like we're gonna have more 'fun' over the next couple of days what with the Colorado low coming in. I'd suggest letting MamaBear run the BX 2-4 times over the next couple of days and see how much she's enjoying it then. If she still enjoys it, then it looks to me that authority has been granted to get a bigger machine.

You are truly a lucky man. My wife has dubbed the BX2660 as her tractor and is the primary operator of the JD2305. While she is on one of these, I am running our L5030 HSTC or M8540 HSDC. Sometimes she even runs the 5030 while I am on the M8540. With both of us working, we can get a lot done.

Definitely time to start thinking about becoming a two tractor family.:thumbsup:
