Thanks for the offer. Actually, the septic cover was made of fiberglass and was pretty thin. The BX23 knocked the center out of it.

The septic is in a low spot in the yard, probably when it was installed the level of the ground around it was not brought up to level. I had planned on buying a new fiberglass cover and putting it on. then I was going to cover the fiberglass cover with maybe a 1/4" steel plate or aluminum, about 4'x4', whatever I can get cheap. Then cover that with dirt and level off the ground, with a marker flush at ground level showing where the cover is.

Unless there's something specific I need to do, then please, I'm all ears.

Not familiar with fiberglass covers. Around here the tanks are made of concrete, including the cover and clean out hole
cover. Is the tank also made of fiberglass???

I sure hope not. I've got alot down in the yard still from Frances. I'm going to take some pics tomorrow and post later.

Junkman, yes, it looks like the whole tank is fiberglass.
