I Need a Shock Absorber Seat!

I have a BX1860 that is used just for cutting grass. It beats up my back something terrible. I need a shock absorber seat of some kind. I bought one about two years ago and it didn't work. What I mean is it was a poor fit. It was too high. Has anyone had this problem and found a good seat that works well on this tractor?

I bought a seat from Agri Supply for the B7500 I had. That darn thing would really slap my butt when I hit even small bumps at any kind of speed till I replaced the stock seat. I had to fab up an adaptor to make it work. IIRC it was a little over a hundred bucks on sale. The tractor I have now came with a much nicer seat, thank goodness.

I believe some people have removed one of the rear springs to give the seat a little more bounce. I have one of the original bx2200 seats and it is horrible. I have never looked into a replacement seat though. I am interested to find out what you discover.

You have other tractors for tractoring so trade that BX mower to Barlows or another Kubota dealer for an F model mower that has a great seat. An easy answer.:cool2: Some times the simplest solutions are overlooked.:laughing:
