Ductape, that's an awesome chipper (a BX60 or BX62, I presume). I am guessing that it weighs north of 800 pounds (with the hydraulic feed hopper). Also, as you look into getting the rear remotes installed on your tractor, you might want to confirm what the flow will be at the remotes. That beautiful chipper may have an appetite for something in the range of 7 gpm.

At first I thought you were talking about the three lights hanging over the garage door, but wow that is a nice chipper.

So when are you bringing it by for a test run?

Nice find Ductape, I've been wanting one of those. I'd be interested to hear how it works once you get it all together. If you want to test run it, I have a 2410 with rear hydraulics, and I'm in NH too - tell you what, I'll borrow it until spring, and let you know how it worked out.

Riddler, my tractor pumps about 5gpm. So..... i'll just have to see how it goes. I need to plumb outlets to the back for my hoe anyway...... so nothing wasted in having quick connects out back.

gf5205,over a thousand pounds???? I don't think my three point will lift that much.......... but it does somehow. I knew this would be pushing the limits of my little B2400..... but i figured i'd give it a shot. I can certainly feeeeel the weight back there. I bought it used, so worst case scenario is i sell it and look for a BX42...... which was actually my intent from the start.

Wayne and Tim...... what the heck would i do without the two of you lookin out for my best interests ?????????????

If it doesn't work out for you I'll take it off your hands. Let me know.
I could beat John there and bring a nice, lightly used unit more suited for your tractor, as a trade!;) :D
Looks good, enjoy it.

Look all of this "taken care of your fellow man" is starting to get to me. Must be something in the New Hampshrie air?

All I got was a cheap Femco weatherbreak for my tractor, have to start working harder on the LOML. Oh I also got a Husqvarna 455 rancher chainsaw. Well, it is on it's way here so I will have it soon.

Bot are work tools, not toys!!

Wayne, i've got a 455 i've had several years. They aren't very highly regarded by the guys on the chainsaw forums, but i love mine. I've cut five or six seasons' worth of firewood with it. I usually run a 20" bar, but an 18" is probably better suited to it. Did you buy yours new? You should be very happy with it ! :D
