After 41 years as an electrician/instrument technician in an oil refinery, I am now officially done. More tractor time!:thumbsup:

I know how you feel, having recently retired myself. I now have three large pads on my hilly property that I put there just because I have the time. I don't know what I'm going to put on them yet but I sure can park a lot of cars now if I want to. I also have time to mess with my PlayStation a lot more and tend to the tomato garden. At first, my wife wasn't so sure how she was going to like me being home 24/7 but now she couldn't be happier since the yard looks better than it ever has and she has fewer chores to do around the house as I took over some of them. She hasn't touched a vacuum cleaner in over a year.

Congrats on the retirement!!!!! I retired two years ago. Two things I say about Retirement. I highly recommend it. And, the hours are great!!!

You're my hero, going out upright and breathing! I'm counting down, 4 months and 12 days. I work for the Federal government and personally know 7 people who are or will be gone by 3 January.
