53 degrees and rain ... its actually a little cool. First one of the year!!
Our local weather guy here in the Atlanta, GA. area who is usually pretty accurate said we have an El nina or something like that and the South is supposed to be warner and drier this year than last...let's see if he is right ..I hope he is on the warmer but not the drier..
Our low this morning was 51, the high was 54, and now it's started back down. It was overcast even early this morning, and we've had light rain off and on since before noon, although I don't think there's much more than a quarter inch in the gauge.
That's the good news. The bad news is that my wife started coughing, sneezing, and using many facial tissues Friday, but kept going as if it was nothing because her sister was here visiting. Her sister left yesterday to return to West Virginia, so my wife got a doctor's appointment this morning. She got 3 prescriptions plus 2 kinds of sample medications. Doc says almost pneumonia. And I woke up at 4 a.m. this morning and can tell I'm getting whatever she has; primarily sinus infection, I think.
I guess I am the sissy anytime it gets over 70, I quit working, start whining, look for shade and a cold beer![]()
Nice woodstove. Fisher?
Blueriver, on these cool, somewhat damp feeling, breezy Oklahoma days that little fire looks and probably feels pretty good. I'd be doing the same if I had one!![]()
