So do I, but I don't need my 32:1 anymore, since all of my 2 stroke power tools are now 40:1.
Trouble is, my 32:1 can is FULL and no use for it!

I had some old spray paint cans in the shed that I used to spray "D" on each side of the can. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I dont see paying extra just to have a different color container. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I am part of the different colored cans crowd.

Yellow is diesel for truck or tractor.

Red 5 gallon is gas for car, lawn mower, generator, etc.

Faded and sitting outside near the burn pile is diesel, mixed with some gas, oil and whatever. Only I touch this one.

1 gallon red, is for mixed gas.

Like others, I keep (6) 6-gallon red blitz for gas; (2) 5-gallon yellows for diesel; (1) 5-gallon blue for kerosene and (3) 1-gallon reds for 2-stroke JD line trimmer, Husky chainsaw and Echo blower - like to use the manufacturers 2-stroke oil mixture although I am considering going to husky mix for all…

Here is the routine. The 6-gallon gas containers get StaBil added at each fill-up and a piece of tape with the date on it applied to the top. The can then goes to the “end of the line”. The one at the “front of the line” is used next for the lawn mower and riding mower. I do this to keep “fresh” treated gas available for the generator if needed for emergencies. Try to have about 25 gallons available at all times to run the generator for a couple of days if needed.

I do not mix the 2-stroke oil(s) until needed. Once refilled, I keep a piece of Velcro around the handles to remind me it has not been mixed. Once I mix it, I put the Velcro around the hose/nozzle so that I know it has been mixed.

Is this normal or do we all need help???

She wouldn't thinks it's so funny if you filled up her car with water like my brother did on his lawn tractor.
He failed to see any humor it.
