Oh yah! I found that after installing the radio, the stock speakers could take no volume (that would be required while operating) or even the slightest increase in bass without the speakers rattling. So, for about $50 on Amazon.com I purchased some Kenwood 3 way replacements. The difference is huge.
My installation cost was just over $100 that included an AM/FM radio with an SD slot and a USB slot, and the replacement speakers. So far I've "copied" 7 or 8 CDs to a 2 GB USB stick and there's probably room for about 25. That's a few hours of "your own music" when the radio reception is questionable.
