I have Music!!

Gphil, just wanted to say thanks again for your help. My stereo harness was buried in the roof and the speakers were not connected. So that's what caused my confusion lol. Anyway I traced the wires and found the harness and the speaker harness's as well. So now I have music, lol. Thanks again.

Oh yah! I found that after installing the radio, the stock speakers could take no volume (that would be required while operating) or even the slightest increase in bass without the speakers rattling. So, for about $50 on Amazon.com I purchased some Kenwood 3 way replacements. The difference is huge.
My installation cost was just over $100 that included an AM/FM radio with an SD slot and a USB slot, and the replacement speakers. So far I've "copied" 7 or 8 CDs to a 2 GB USB stick and there's probably room for about 25. That's a few hours of "your own music" when the radio reception is questionable.View attachment 383131View attachment 383132

Nice, an XR4040 and an XR4120

You welcome. Glad you got it in. That's what make the site, people willing to help one another.
