Read an old thread about installing a heavy duty top link plate and "I E top and tilt" It was for an L3400. What is this and how does it work?

Here is a link to the information topandtilt.com

But you may want to read this problem before you decide to buy.

Try CCM they are a sponsor here and I think they can set you up.

Good Luck,
Kevin

My recommendation would be CCM. They sale hydraulic top links and side link cylinders equipped with dual action pilot valves. They respond to e-mail and telephone calls. Profit from my mistake and avoid cylinders without the pilot valves. They will not maintain implements at a preset height. My experience with cylinders without pilot valves has been very negative. They drift or leak down.

I agree. Stay away from Integrated Engineering. Carter & Carter (CCM) sells the same or similar stuff and has good customer service too. Cylinders with double pilot operated check valves are the ONLY way to go for a TNT setup. Anything else will give you less than desired results and that's a guarantee. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I installed the Heavy Duty toplink plate on my L3400. Ordered from Carter (talk to Tim). Have the serial number from your tractor. DEALT WITH IE AND IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!
I finally got my merchandise --- with the help of the FBI, State Attorney Genral of Illinois and a call to the local Sheriff.

I think that Mr. McCuan has wore his welcome out here on TBN and other web sites. Perhaps a reminder once in awhile being posted will keep future members of TBN from becoming a victim of his practices /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

First my mistake -- "Tim" at Carver Equip. in regards to previous post about Kubota top link plate.

Next: No Bashing, just info -- Integrated Engineering.

On Ebay: Community shows 5 negatives for the last 3 months. Last sale/bid winner 12-19-05 #7546662482 was not a happy camper. No merchandise for auction since???

Now to something more pleasant: I ordered a Root Rake Brush Grapple (RGB2 - 60) from Carver Equip. ( Delayed Xmas for myself I would like to hear from those that have one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

This is the W.R.Long Inc. "Toy".

Why would you even post a link to the Integration Engineering website? It's good that you posted the other link as warning, but I certainly wouldn't make it easy for McCuan to scam anyone else. Seems that the guy is a thief based on a number of posts over the last 9 months. This serves only to possibly cause a fellow TBNer aggravation and loss of money.

I finally gave up on waiting for McCuan to redeem himself and ordered a top link from CCM today. They don't have any side links at the moment so I'll have to wait a while on that.

I urge extreme caution when dealing with Integration Engineering. I have nothing to show for the $462.56 I spent there. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

bandit67,

Well McCuans page has a nice animation of what Topntilt action is and I think we could use that as a training tool for newbe's that are looking for explanation on what TNT is.
Of course make the satement "LOOK, But DON'T BY FROM HIM". This way we are sort of "Scamming" him. Yeah McCuan,
nice training animation!!!

Boy! This and related threads on IE sure show the power of the Internet, and what can happen to a guy's business if he doesn't keep his customers happy. This Forum was initially low-cost marketing for Jim; I found out about his TnT product on this Forum and my business was a direct result of it. Now, look at it; he's basically "dead in the water" to sell anything to anyone who has checked out the Boards here.

I bought my TnT from McCuan almost two years ago, when I bought my tractor. Apparrently I was lucky, because whatever the later problems, they hadn't occurred at that point and the stuff got delivered to my dealer promptly and installed by him with no problem and I have been using it, also with no problem, ever since. I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend him at the time, based on my own personal experience.

However, I don't for a moment question the genuineness of the problems that others have since had. One reason I don't is that I haven't seen "word one" from him on any of the threads devoted to the problems that others have had, questioning their statements or even attempting to explain his actions or what the h**l has been going on. Denials (just like the original allegations) sometimes need to be taken with a grain of salt. But admissions, or the failure to respond to a complaint, is usually pretty suggestive.

It's too bad. If there was a genuine family or personal problem of some sort, I feel sorry for the guy, but he still shouldn't have dropped the ball. He had a nice product that seemed reasonably priced at the time. ...just shows: "ya gotta take care o' business, 'cause if ya don't take care o' business, y're 'out o' business.'"

Today I received the top link cylinder and hoses I ordered from CCM, as promised. Nothing at all like my experience with IE.

I'd like to thank Mr Hatcher and others. I just bought a tractor (my first) and want to get a TNT (although I knew basically nothing about them). Came here to do some research, like I'd done when I bought the tractor last October (got a Mahindra 4110). I knew I'd seen the TNT advertising logo, but couldn't find it again. Now I know why.

I agree about the power of the Internet. I've seen it work a couple times before. Anybody else heard of Charlie Wenzel or what happened when he tried to rip off somebody? I've also seen the Internet be responsible for people with good products becoming an instant world-wide success.

I bought a TnT from Integration Engineering after learning about them here and meeting Jim McCuan at a Louisville show. To me, he seemed like a sincere and knowledgeable guy. Late in our transaction, I had to get quite pointed with him to get him to refund a billing mistake, but he eventually did. I think that we don't know the whole story about his situation and I'm inclined to think that he is not a slimeball. The rest of the story may be he is overwhelmed by the non-technical part of the business and can't force himself to followup, or possibly creditors are pressuring him. I wouldn't buy from him again based on my own experience and from reading other's experiences here because its really inexcuseable. However, I would like to draw a distinction between "bad businessman" and outright crook. Just my opinion and I'm sure those who never received their product will not agree.

Bad businessman or outright crook? Take your pick - I won't quibble. In my case, the results of dealing with McCuan have been no different than dealing with an outright crook. He took my money, gave me nothing in return, and his conscience must not be bothering him too much because in over eight months he has made no attempt to make it right.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, what else could it be?
