Tires I could use some tire advice R3039H owners

Not loaded. Most of the time I stay in 2 wheel drive unless I'm plowing deep snow.

Do all of you have your rear tires loaded?

I do and with a loader would not do it any other way, also to lift my coal bags i have a counter weight for the 3 point hitch

The R3039H I'm looking at has a backhoe on it. The dealer said with the backhoe as ballast, I shouldn't have a problem. But I see the backhoe getting in the way while doing loader work.

Yes, absolutely.

Ordered mine on Monday. Had dealer to load tires before he delivers it. Wouldn't have one with a FEL without as much weight on the back as possible.

As I have come full circle back to farm environment but this time a country estate, I have been surprised at the discussions on whether to ballast tires or not. Been away from tractor talk for 30 years or more. It was always a no brainer around my neighborhood as a as a youngster. Basically it was a way to make any tractor match up to the next up size tractor without ballast. Farmers always wanted to get the most tractor for the money. Water was cheap back then

R4 are a good all around tire , I actually perfer R4 if you need to run your tractor on pavement, if you plan to use them for snow removal i would invest in a set of chains , R1 will have much better traction but a rough ride and higher tread over paved roads or driveways ..loading the tires in my opinion is a must these compact tractors have a lot of horsepower to weight.
