I have an old LK3504 and I'm trying to replace a front end loader hydro line. Have tried two brand new lines and can't get end on the stainless steel line compression fitting to thread down. Is that end different threads ? It acts like it's not going down right.

If I understand what lines you are talking about they should be 3/8 JIC fittings. Most compression fittings I have seen are NPT. You would need an adapter to connect the line.

Your best bet may be to take your hose down to a local hydraulic shop and see if they can match it up. I know my local Orielly's makes hydraulic lines. Not sure what they cost though.
