Hydrostatic filter

I just received a t4125-38021 filter from tractor joe.
T4125-38021 - Hydrostatic Filter for Kioti Tractors | TractorJoe.com

Something just doesn't seem right. The filter came unpackaged, red in color, not one letter or number marked on it. Nothing!
This is a very expensive filter. $100.00
I think that's very strange, no box, no numbers, no markings, just red.
Should I be concerned?

Sounds like it may be a clone from a third world country. Might want to contact Kioti about what markings they put on the filter.
They may want to track down the counterfeiters.

I spoke with my dealer, and he said it's a knock off. I bought this from Tractorjoe. I contacted them, told them I want my $ back and I'm waiting for them to call back.

Yea $100 for a knockoff is crazy when the oem is less. Yes the are a expensive filter because of the pressure they have to handle. CJ

Still waiting for the prepaid return label email from tractorjoe. The owner called me up. I could hardly understand her. Very, very thick russian accent. She told me the filter was a baldwin. I told her I want my $ back. I can't tell you guys how careful you've got to be when online ordering.

Chuck 172,why not save some time and heartache and order your filters online from michigan iron and equipment?Just curious,there prices seem pretty fair.
