hydrolic pump help

ihave a pump that i have hookeda wingard 18 horse engine to,dut cant get it to pressure up. the pump is borg warner P25AH21RO1.Ineed help please

G'day and welcome the first thing to check is pump rotation it should have an arrow on the pump showing you the direction of rotation, see if this is the same as your engine

Excellent starting point. If the pump rotation is correct give some more information about what you are trying to operate with it, and how the hydraulic circuit is setup.

if i read the model number right the r stands for clockwise rotation. if so then that is ok.
