hydrolic fluid level

I have a L3400 2008. There is no window to view the hydrolic fluid level on this tractor. Can someone tell me how to determine the correct fluid high.

I have a L3400 2008. There is no window to view the hydrolic fluid level on this tractor. Can someone tell me how to determine the correct fluid high.

As a matter of fact, if you look near the front of the left side floorboard at the side of the transmission/clutch housing, there is a sight glass. The tractor should be sitting as level as possible, if it's off much at all you won't get a true indication.

Level should be halfway up the glass, if you don't see a fluid line it's either too full or too low. Should be stopped to check the level, if you don't see anything try starting it and look again to see if anything appears. Loader and 3-point should be fully lowered when you check.
