Have the same old problem with turf torq tranny T40a not working. Pulled tranny out yesterday and opened her up and found part of a very thin spring inside the axle shaft. Oil smelled burnt was dark and magnets were full of heavy sludge and fine particles of metal, not good!
Plan on cleaning and changing oil and filter, anything else?
Tractor is a 2005 125 model.Lawn tractor for 2 acre yard mowing.
Where can I find the schematics for the turf torq as need to see where that spring came from?? Gears are in very good condition!
