Hydro oil change interval

I have given my opinion so often I sometimes feel like a broken record. (I suppose I would still be dating myself were I to say "endless loop".)

Around $30 for an analysis from a reputable lab is much cheaper than an hydraulic oil change and is pretty cheap peace of mind that you are not harming the system.

Under warranty it would be best to go by manufacture establish requirements.

I go by the manual but the old fluid looks just like the new. I am going to run a fluid ck every 200 hours after I get past the warranty period.

Well I just did a full fluid & filter changer at 40hr on my CK2610. Engine oil was black and hyd oil was dark amber. 400hrs seems like a long time, but I don't have much experience with diesel equipment. Oil analysis seems like a good idea.
