hydro issues

Have a 2001 JD 4300, runs great but recently bought a stump bucket, when forcing bucket into ground to remove stumps of scrub oak, tractor seems to not have enuf power, runs good but won't rip up roots, I'm thinking either the hydro pump, possibly a bypass of some kind or possibly low hydro oil, will chk the oil level today.
