Hydraulics re John Deere 2440

Is there an online maintenance/owner's manual for a John Deere 2440? If so, where? I specifically need to know the quantitiy of hydraulic oil needed by this tractor to replace/purge hydraulic oil that has become contaminated with water. Also where's the best place to get a hydraulic oil filter? I do have a front end bucket mounted.

You can buy the owners manual and service manual from JD...not sure how much fluid she needs, sorry.

My JD 2030 takes 10 gallons, yours should be close. I only use JD filters, but you could try NAPA for some possible savings.

if you use jd oil and filters and one fails you have a case against jd

if you use another brand jd will tell you to sue them
