Tractor
new holland tc40d
I have a TC40D with hydrostatic transmission and a front end loader. I purchased it used with very few hours. It was making a low squealing noise when I got it and the bucket did not go up smooth all the time. I have since taken the bucket off to use my brush hog. Hog and 3 point hitch was working fine. But, the drive started making a loud squeal and pedals became soft and it would not move forward or back. I let it cool and it started to work again. Took it up to garage and took hog off and put bucket on. Problem has gotten worse. I put a new New Holland hydraulic pump on and checked all my lines. All are clear. (That I can see)
Tractor bucket barely goes up and tilts up and down very jumpy and slow. Now tractor will not move at all. (forward or back) Any ideas?

Fluid level okay? Clean? Have you changed it or the filter(s)?

I would have tried a little more diagnosing before dropping $$$ on a pump that may not have been needed.

oil level is a little bit high. But, it is clean and freshly changed. It is something that effects the bucket and the transmission.. They both work, but just barely.

Check all quick disconnects to make sure they are plugged in.
