Anyone have a FEL on a YM1700 that could post a picture of how the hydraulics hook up. Like where they hook up, under the seat or down on the frame? I was thinking I would like to do the quick disconnects so it would be easy on and off.

thanks
Eddie

It really doesn't. I would like to see what others use for fittings, lines and exactly where they cut in the line that is the most likely not to have problems later. I started the other thread so I had already read that, thanks.

OK, here's what is needed: 2 compression fittings for the high pressure line. 2 fittings that match the valve inputs/outputs. U might need: 2 right angles for the compression fitting. 2 adapters to adapt the compression fitting outputs to the size of your valve I/O lines. Cut the highpressure line and use that to size the comprssion fittings. If you have a hydraulic shop near by take the valve & cut out piece of high pressure line to get the correct fittings. Don't forget the measurements so they can build the lines. If you are ordering the parts and fon't want to cut the line til the last minute use a micrometer to get the OD measurement of the high pressure line. It's relatively easy after you do it once, and I've found that it's not too hard to make mods or add more hydraulics.

Here is a photo of my 1810 where the hydrauics were tapped for the loader.

Here is the hook up on a YM1500D. Not a very good pic, but you may get the idea. It was set up so that you could take the loader off and then reconnect the lines.

Brent, do I see 3 lines connected on your 1500?

No, they are just looped around and it gives the appearance of 3. The two quick disconnects you see are the spliced in lines of the supply line. The small connection you see to the left the return line from the FEL with a compression fitting on connecting it back in series.
