Hydraulics for FEL & backhoe

I just bought a JD 314 and would like to add a
FEL now and a backhoe later. I understand a
separate hydraulic pump for these attachments
is a must. What are my options for powering this
additional hydraulic circuit? Thanks!

Some folks with specific Deere experience may give you a better answer, but one solution is a PTO driven pump such as are made by Prince. I use one to power my backhoe. It requires a separate reservoir, one is on my backhoe - my FEL uses the tractor's hydraulics.

I hope someone comes along with a better answer for you, this is the best I can do.

Yes, it slides on the splines, and there is a chain so it doesn't spin.
