Hi all,

I recently picked up an early 70's model Deutz D4006 from a estate sale.It came with several attachments.one being a front end loader.I put the loader on and it works ok,except it seems to raise and lower unevenly. It seems to favor the right side.Someone has mentioned I may need to install some kind of a equalization valve to allow both sides to work evenly. This loader is definately a backyard mechanic assembled piece.

any and all ideas are welcome.

Thanks,
Mike

Maybe one cyl is binding.

If you remove both cyl rod ends from the bucket, you can extend and retract the cyls to see which one is not working correctly.

I will give it a try.

All hydraulic parts were new, which is why i bought the tractor.Just sat around for a few months waiting on the estate to be finalized.

Thanks,
Mike

I think you may have a lazy cylinder, as in one is doing the work and the other is only doing half the work.
This is due to one of the cylinder's bypassing fluid.

Solution:
Reseal the bypassing cylinder
