What do you folks think about hydraulic top links on Cat 1 equipment. Are they worth the expense? I'm thinking of adding a 6' scrape blade for snow removal and maintaining the driveway. Would it be worthwhile?

I never needed this for a scraper blade. These come in handy when whatever you are picking up with the 3 pt needs a forward tilt such as when using rear forks picking up logs or pallets. Nothing I ever did with a scraper blade that could not be changed with a quick twist of the screw adjustment. For snow or grading, once I've set it to do what I want, I never touched it again. I suppose some like to fiddle with this tilting mechanism but I am not one of those.

3pt box blade, 3pt forks, 3pt scoop bucket,

i suppose 3pt PHD (post hole digger) instead of moving tractor forward / reverse to keep auger bit straight as it digs down / pulls out of the hole.

3pt boom possibly.

I put one on my B3200 and love it. I use an Armstrong Ag 5 foot land plane. The hydraulic top link lets me adjust the angle of the land plane on the fly. It is a great aid in hooking up those heavy implements. Best use would be on a land plane or box blade. Not that useful with a finish mower or shredder.

A hydraulic top link ,in my opinion, is a very valuable tool to have. It gives you a lot of flexibility and convenience. I didn't have one until a couple of years back. I actually learned how useful they can be by reading about them here on TBN. The primary implement that I use it with is a box blade but I also use it with my landscape rake and hay mover. I don't have a scrape blade yet but I am sure I will use the link with it when I get one. It has became a tool that I don't intend to be without.

Never had one before I bought this last Kubota and figured it was no big deal. Now that I have one I would HATE to not have it, VERY useful and I find I make a lot of little adjustment that are helpful but I would never make if I had to get off the tractor and crank the top link up and down.

Thanks for all the input folks. Think I will make the effort to do the deed. Have to wait for the pigybank to fatten a little.
