Crazy, If you are talking about using a double bladed grader like a Dura-Grader and not a box blade you may be worrying to much. Don't forget, the grader rides on two skid shoes which run outside of the blades. The bite is largely controlled by the depth of the blade below the skids. When you go over peaks and thru dips with a fixed top link you are more likely to dig less material bcause you can't keep the whole length of the grader flat on the surface so only one blade does the work in those places. I dont think that you will find it at all tricky to use. My wife can drag mine just fine.
I would just get or build the grader then use it and solve the problems when and if they arise.
