I have a mx5100 with a rear remote do I need a hydraulic top link with a check valve on it ?
I talked to a kubota dealer and they said the top link and angle kit cylinder dose not have check valve on cylinder.

Personal preference in my opinion. I don't think that you will find an OEM "TnT" set that has any of the double pilot operated check valves, only after market sets. I have 2 sets of "TnT" sets for my tractors and none have the dpocv. I have had no reason to have them, but many many others would not have them any way but with the check valves, especially the top link.

So to answer your question, no, you do not have to have a check valve with a hydraulic top link. ;)
