Anyone install a HTL on the M9540?
If so what size did you install?

Have a 1 inch pin Cat 2

All Kubota M series tractors less than 100HP have 3/4" pins at the tractor end and 1" pins at the implement end. I post this so that others as well as you know what to look for. Easy enough fix for you when looking, just get a reducer bushing.

Should mention I'm looking for adjustment length. You mentioned in other post of 23.25 to 35.25
Would like to know of actual users what adjustment lengths they have needed?

Take a look at this link. This works for about any implement really.

Your front-back level point adjustment should be right around 29" if I remember correctly. So you will have 5"-6" of adjustment in either direction.

All Dodge -- There has been a lot said regarding hydraulic top links (HTL). Would be worthwhile if you have time to go do a search within TBN threads on Hydraulic Top Links. MtnViewRanch you are already talking with seems as knowledgeable as any of us on this topic. He is on the sales end of things (which is perfectly OK) but I would just add there are quite a large number of competitors in this product area.

My 2 cents is "the bigger the better" on the link. Get as much in/out range and diameter as you can get that is still compatible with the tractor and implements. Especially on that size tractor an Hyd Top Link will take a serious beating. In my case I use one on a MF2660 (81 horse) tractor mostly with a 7ft bush hog. Also with box scraper, 7.5 ft flail mower and other things. I find it to be a very good investment and very valuable being able to move things around with the help of the HTL like when hooking up, scooting things too heavy for a person to scoot, etc. I got mine from a dealer who had a combination parts and service guy that was really good about researching things. He sold me an HTL and can't find out what brand or source at the moment. (My tractor is 300 miles away.) Anyway a dealer or someone like that who is close enough to visit, willing to talk and assist, etc. and has supplied them before is very valuable. No idea if your local Kubota dealer fits that description or not.

I made mine. Used a 3" diameter cylinder with 1.5" ram. Collapsed length 20". Extended length 30". That's center of pin to center of pin.

I'm very content with the length. I use a QH and never take it off.

Six, I don't know for sure if my top link drifts. But my side link does very slowly.

No, not at all. Someone else on another thread asked me that too. It will drift eventually if I accidentally leave the 7ft bush hog dangling on it for a day or more but otherwise no. I'd be alarmed if it did it during use. I go for quite a few days of work without ever adjusting it sometimes (but always sitting it down with weight off the link in between those days.) I got it in 2011.

I bought this one from Surplus Center. Cat II both ends. 3" cylinder. 1.5" ram. 19.5" collapsed. 27.5" extended.
