I bought a cylinder for a hydraulic top link, and I need to make some hoses. So as not to reinvent the wheel, I was curious if anyone with a hydraulic top link could share their hose specs (lengths/fittings/what they would do differently next time, etc.). Thanks!

Yep, same sizes I used for mine.

Pre-made 3' hoses were cheaper for me than getting custom length

Get out a tape measure and see what works on your set up

A 24" & 30" hose should work well for your LS XR4145.
Use 90* adaptor fittings at the cylinder ports.

Yep, same sizes I used for mine.

Would you guys mind posting a pic of your setups with those lengths?

I'm not happy with the 2 x 36" hoses on my MT240 setup, I'd like to do something different.

Also, are BSP fittings common to hydraulic shops, or places like NAPA where you get hoses made, or should I find some BSP to NTP adapters and be done with it once are for all?

Edit* Found the (m)BSP to (m)NPT adapters the top link came with, so I can go all NTP with the new lines.
