Anybody have a good pointer to a cheap cylinder to actuate the SSQA handles?
I loved the linear actuator SSQA install I did on my old L3200. My new L4060 has 3rd function fittings sitting right there & as somebody in my linear actuator thread noted, you can just put a manual valve int here to run the SSQA or 3rd function as you only need to flip the valve when you are hooking or unhooking an implement that needs the 3rd function. Not sure if I'll just put QDs on & swap hoses or do a valve yet.
I started looking at the OEM Kubota option on Messicks parts catalog & nearly choked. $700 for just the cylinder, $200 for new handles & $100 for the guards they have that cover everything to prevent damage from bucket spillage. The guard is probably not needed, but not that unreasonable. The handles are a bit expensive, but I have to go look to see if they are even different than what's on there now. The cylinder though is kind of insane.
Need to go take some measurements, but figured I'd ask if anybody knew of any reasonable priced solutions offhand.
