try to locate the pump and the outlet port....check for "plug" or QC fitting connected to outlet port.....

You MUST check the pressure before and after, you must also know what the recommended pressure is so you do not exceed it. I don't know where the main PRV (pressure relief valve) is on your machine, but that is what you need to find.

Why do you want to raise the pressure? Doing this wrong cause cause very expensive damage to your machine...

You can tee a gage into the first valve after the pump. Find a manual to determine the manufacture rated pressure. If it is low, adjust it by using shims or turning a screw down to increase pressure.

Check the loader control valve for the relief cartridge, front side pointing straight down closest to the frame casting. Adjust at your own risk, i.e. know what you're doing. Item 40 in the last attachment.

before you run off adjusting reliefs.. what is your problem and or symptoms.

most of these ag systems are running 1500-2500 psi or somewhere inbetween depending on the year and manufacturer... and were set that way for a reason..

Exactly. Turning the screw on a relief valve is not going to fix a worn out hydraulic pump or a bad cylinder packing.

hernando,

Do you know what the pressure should be. It is easy enough to adjust, but like the others have said, should you. What do you hope to gain? Before and after what?
If your hyd system is not good and tight, you might never be able to set the relief.
