When I fully raise my rear blade on my tractor, it sounds like the engine is straining. If I then lower the blade a very small amount, the engine returns to normal.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated!

Linkage that controls the hydraulics needs to be adjusted to stop trying to raise 3PH when it is at end of it's up stroke. There is a thread that I could not find on how to make this adjustment on a B2910. I'm not sure if the L3710 is the same.
Until you get the adjustment made make sure you keep the 3PH a little below full up. Hydraulic oil will over heat and cause damage to hydraulic system if kept in position you describe.
