I like that keeper hook on the bottom. I don't have that. May not even need it. I'm not home to look right now.

I noticed the colored tie wraps on the lower hoses, nice touch.
I would add them to the upper (loader) hoses in case a dust boot gets torn off.
I put them on mine even though I have Multi-coupler. It confirms I am putting the coupler half on right (even though it only will go on one way)

I put color coded ties on each end of hoses but I’d ran out of Orange ties.

I used all of them on my KTM bike

The 6 lower ports are exactly in the same placement as the uppers too making it fool proof lol

I had hoses made with 90* flat face o ring fittings on upper ends to eliminate the 90* double ended fittings like came from JD on my other tractor.

this is a cleaner less cluttered look imo

Real nice work BD I like the uncluttered look also. You were fortunate to find another 5115m set up just the way you'd order it, especially the creeper gear option. I've got a question , does it look like those 6 bulkhead female couplers would also mount to the lower mid frame bulkhead and thread right on to the ORFS female fittings? I've been looking at your good pictures and they appear they might be what I'm going to need for my 540 loader when it arrives. Thanks

The 6 male flat face o ring fittings down on the mid frame has female caps on them when their is no hoses connected to them.

they are the exact same male fittings as the quick couplers up top has on the backside of them.

I think their called #8 (1/2”) flat face o ring fittings.

both are male fittings so you would need a double ended female fitting with swivel fittings on each end to connect the two together.

I hope I explained it correctly.

You miss understood my post just a little. I want to remove those 6 male orfs mid mount fittings that came w the tractor, unthread them from there steel lines. Once I do this it looks to me like those 6 female couplers would fit in the bulkhead mount and as I said before connect directly to the Female ORFS fitting on the steel tubing in back of the bulkhead mount frame. Thanks again.

that might be possible idk.
I hadn’t had those male fittings down there unthreaded from the tractor

the hex nut you see against the black sticker is a jam nut to keep the male o ring fittings from turning.

Good picture. I’m just gonna remove those male jam nutted fittings and replace with the 6 female couplers that you have. The female couplers will thread directly to the Green painted steel lines.

it’ll be like the older JD where loader hoses connected down under the floorboard

That will keep you from hanging tree limbs you mentioned.

That'll work is what I wanted to hear. Another question, does it look like the 6 loader hoses are long enough to reach the lower mid mount bulkhead where my couplers will be? In your pictures the hoses appear to be quite long, be nice if I don't have to add a short length. I realize they can't be so short there almost kinked.

My 540M & H260 loader hoses are a little too long but they would never reach down to the frame connections.
Is your cab tractor a 5115M or R ?

First thanks for your help BD, your thread came along at the right time for me. It’s 2019 5115M . I thought the hoses would probably be too short but was hoping they might make it. I’m kinda green around the Green iron

im not knocking other tractors but the JD to me is just layed out properly, a LOT heavier than most brands + just more user friendly imo

I agree they are Expensive BUT hold their value really well as long as u keep stored inside & the hours low.

keep us posted with pics after u get the new loader plumbed in
