Hydraulic fluid

A year or so ago I ran low on trans/hydraulic oil, so I decided to do some research. Deep in the techo crap papers of TSC oil it said, NOT to be used for heavy duty hydraulic oil.

Now, you tell me when my use shifts from standard duty to heavy duty! IF, somehow it becomes HD does that mean I have to stop doing what I'm doing?

I DID NOT and WILL NOT buy TSC tractor hydraulic oil and I don't care how cheap it is!

On a side note, I know of two cases of guys putting cheap fluid in their John /Deeres that had hydraulic clutch packs and the clutches made noise and were a bit sticky, switching to Deere oil fixed it, and I'm NOT a John Deere person.

Just to keep everyone on the same page….
I realize that the title is “Hydraulic Fluid” but the op really needed info about Trans/Hydraulic fluid which is different than Hydraulic fluid.
This is what he was inquiring about…

I was surprised to see that Walmart carries 2.5 gallon Mobil Delvac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid, which is the same product as Mobilfluid 424. Mobilfluid 424 is one of the Kioti service manual named fluids to use, even in Hydrostatic tractors.

I think that you can probably find all the fluid you need if you're willing to drive around to a few Walmarts, the price is pretty decent too, right now it's $43 for 2.5 gallons, and there is a $10 rebate (up to two of them).
