I can't find them anywhere. looked in walmart, tsc, advance auto, napa, sears.
Where are they available?

I found two 5-gal pails of Spirax (formerly Donax) at a local Walmart. But I notice that they haven't restocked it since I bought the last two pails. My dealer said any premium (whatever that means) tractor fluid should be OK but I chickened out and bought the recommended stuff.

Chuck, quit driving yourself nuts over the tranny fluid, just go to your local TSC store and look for the Traveller Premium UTF...Many of us use this with no problems (I changed to it last fall...as cold as this winter was, it worked fine)....If you have any leftover after tranny change, you can use it in your front axle....Hill Billy Bob

The following discription was taken from TSC's web site:

Traveller® Premium Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid is a specially formulated, premium multigrade (SAE 10W-20) fluid blended with the highest quality lubricating oils and the most technologically advanced additive system. Provides superior protection and performance for modern farm equipment employing a common sump to lubricate hydrostatic transmissions, differentials, wet brakes, hydraulics and final drive gears.

Your local fuel and oil supplier will have it in 5, 55, 250, and 500 gallon containers. How much do you need? :D

Can't do that Bob, wouldn't feel right about it, at least not for the first 50 hour service.

Chuck,
There are tones of threads with the research already done. Here is a link to one I did last year. I contacted Kioti Customer support to verify fluid requirements. There is also full specs to several easy to find fluids. I hope this helps.

thanks for the link from Jeremy Stroud (Kioti Product Support Supervisor). When I called I couldn't get passed Kioti's customer support woman who really didn't seem very knowledgeable.

Why? Everyone is at different skill levels, and mechanical understanding. This is exactly what a forum is for. We are here to help other people understand, or learn for our self.

Completed the 50 hour service, I ended up going with Mobil fluid 424. The fluid will be in there for 350 hours (hopefully).

I went to that link, NG. I went to TheOilHub.com and couldn't find Mobil 424. This whole Hydro Fluid question is a PITA.
TSC fluid seems to meet the requirements. The local store also has Rotella. I'm gonna continue to research. Kioti hasn't been very helpful. They should have a technical support person, not just "Customer Service".

Chuck, did you use Rotella engine oi? and where did you get the filters?

I just bought Kubota Super UDT expensive yes, but so is a new tractor. Take some of that aftermarket fluid and the factory fluid and pour in a cup. It does not look or feel the same. Maybe I wasted some money will not know for sure until another 1000 hours with no problems.

I did use Rotella T5 synthetic blend 10w30. I use that same oil for about everything.

I purchased my oil and filters at the dealer. Put kioti fluid (only one grade) in the fall, did a good job in the winter especially with the -35C we had nearly all winter, but i don't recoment it for the rest of the year, since it heats up very fast and the relief valve kicks in early. I'll be putting Donax TD in a few hours.

What is synthetic blend? Is that a tablespoon of synthetic oil in a barrel of conventional?

My DK45 book has the maintenance hours as an interval not clock reading. The HST filter at 250 clock reading hours and the HST oil change at 450 clock reading hours, but changing early for a low use tractor isn't a bad idea. A normal every day farm tractor would log somewhere around 1000 hours per year.
